Welcome to our website.....

Saint Patrick's School is located in the rural Riverina city of Griffith. Griffith is part of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area. The school can be found adjacent to the Sacred Heart Church, has modern facilities and large playing areas for our students.

We have students from Kindergarten to Year 6 with three classes at each year level.

St Patrick's School is part of the Sacred Heart Parish. We are a welcoming community which provides a safe and secure environment, within which our students receive high quality education in all Key Learning Areas. Our staff are fully committed to their vocation as Christian educators.

Saint Patrick's is a systemic Catholic School which operates under the guidelines and policies of the Catholic Schools Office, Diocese of Wagga Wagga. The Catholic Schools Office in Wagga directly assists us with many aspects of school life.

Throughout this year we have introduced many initiatives at St Patrick’s with the major focus being on student wellbeing;

  • The Resilience Project has begun it’s journey with an introduction by Martin Heppell in August. Coupled with this has been the ‘Boys to Men’ project.
  • Targeting Mathematics has been on ongoing focus throughout 2017 and onto 2018 and 2019
  • Music has also been a major focus . This culminated in the A3 concert and the introduction of the Instrumental Program.
  • Coding and Programming has been introduced into the IT program and will be ongoing in 2018.

These significant projects will continue into 2018. We will continue to strive for excellence in all areas of the curriculum with our students being at the centre of all our endeavours.

Enrolments are still being taken for 2018 in all grades. Please contact the office if you require any further information.

Our Kindergarten children will commence their Best Start Program from the 31st January until 6th March. Kindergarten classes will then commence on 7th March and students will continue to come to school Monday – Thursdays, having a rest day on the Friday. From Monday 5th March all children will come to school for the 5 days.

The School Office will remain closed until Monday, 22nd January. Administration staff will then be available if any parent requires any further assistance prior to the commencement of the school term.
