Welcome to our website.....

Saint Patrick's School is located in the rural Riverina city of Griffith. Griffith is part of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area. The school can be found adjacent to the Sacred Heart Church, has modern facilities and large playing areas for our students.

We have students from Kindergarten to Year 6 with three classes at each year level.

St Patrick's School is part of the Sacred Heart Parish. We are a welcoming community which provides a safe and secure environment, within which our students receive high quality education in all Key Learning Areas. Our staff are fully committed to their vocation as Christian educators.

Saint Patrick's is a systemic Catholic School which operates under the guidelines and policies of the Catholic Schools Office, Diocese of Wagga Wagga. The Catholic Schools Office in Wagga directly assists us with many aspects of school life.

The St Patrick’ School Council is calling for nominations to join the Council at the end of 2018. (Please find a nomination form attached to our latest school newsletter).  This group is made up of around 10 parents who are interested in the running of the school and can lend their advice and expertise in certain areas. The types of issues that are discussed by the School Council include building & maintenance works, school fees, marketing ideas and more. We receive monthly updates from the Principal, from staff, from the Parish and from the P&F. It is a great way to contribute to your child’s school, while staying in touch with what is going on in and around the school.

Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month, and generally go for around one hour. Members commit to sit on the Council for a minimum two-year period, with a maximum of six consecutive years. We welcome applications from anyone who may be interested, and I’m happy to chat further with anyone who has any questions. Feel free to contact me on 0408 207 734 or email:margaret.andreazza@gmail.com

If there are any families/businesses who have an association with the school who would like to advertise in our school newsletter in 2019, please contact Donna Cavanagh by email cavanaghd@ww.catholic.edu.au or phone 6964288.

Cost for 12 months of advertising is $550 including GST. The newsletter is distributed to 306 families each fortnight for the entire school year. It’s a great way to promote your business. This is a tax deduction.
